Planning Supervisor

With the implementation of the CDM Regulations in 1995 Derek C Miles Fire & Safety Consultants was set up to provide both Planning Supervision and Health & Safety & Fire Safety Services. This area of work has expanded rapidly and a comprehensive set of services are now provided to clients involved in the Construction Industry and those responsible for Health & Safety responsibilities in Facilities, property Management and Industrial and Office Workplaces.

All members of staff employed by Derek C Miles Fire & Safety Consultants are construction professionals with an extensive and varied background in the construction industry.

The services we offer include:-

• Planning Supervision service to meet all the requirements of the CDM Regulations including Pre-Tender Health & Safety Plans and Health & Safety Files.
• Site Auditing and Inspections of the Principal Contractors' site management procedures and safety standards on site

Derek C Miles Fire & Safety Consultants has taken on the role of Planning Supervisor on an average of 200 projects, for a variety of clients such as the, Pubs, Night Clubs, Resturants, a number of Local Authorities, and hospitals.

As Planning Supervisors all the requirements necessary under the Regulations can be provided including the preparation of Health & Safety Files. It is a proactive service helping clients, designers and contractors to comply with the Regulations.
