DCM Fire & Safety Limited was founded in response to an increasing demand for independent, professional advice in the fields of fire safety and health and safety.

The consultancy draws on the expertise of associates with many years experience in all aspects of fire protection and prevention, health and safety and facilities management to offer impartial advice to architects, designers, contractors, and clients in all areas of industry, commerce, leisure and tourism and all those with particular responsibility for the safety of members of the general public.

The consultancy works closely with management to ensure that no Fire Safety requirements are overlooked, from first-aid fire fighting equipment to staff training.

We offer guidance on the design of new premises and the refurbishment of old to ensure that schemes comply with the requirements of all fire safety legislation and standards.

Expanding areas of work include advising on methods of making buildings of historical and architectural importance comply with legal requirements whilst causing minimum disturbance to building fabric.

All the representatives of this consultancy have been given security clearance by the Home Office and the Department of the Environment to undertake assessments in restricted buildings.
