Assessing Your Training Needs

The best approach to training is to start by assessing your needs. Establishing these needs will require a detailed analysis of your activities, health and safety risks, applicable legislation, organisational culture, and existing competence levels.

Derek C Miles Fire & Safety Consultants undertakes the identification of training needs free of charge. A short report is produced which outlines the training we believe should be provided, and also a list of what we consider to be priorities.

Delivery of Training

Our courses employ modern training techniques, and are tailored to the exact client needs. Our presentation methods, include a multimedia projector linked to a laptop computer to present striking overhead slides. Practical exercises are employed to make the training interesting and involving. Delegates are encouraged to participate to aid the learning experience.

All of our courses are designed so that delegates are encouraged to think about the issues involved, and in so doing improve the learning experience. See our New Courses

Recognised Certificates

Following the training courses, delegates receive certificates of attendance. and for all training the aims and objectives are clearly identified.

Tailoring of Courses and Design of New Courses

We pride ourselves in the fact that our courses are tailored to the particular training needs of the client. If we have already assessed your training needs free of charge, it makes good sense that we are in the ideal position to design courses of maximum benefit to the delegates.
